Great question! I’m exploring ways I can translate my corporate experience from the last 20 years into something more fulfilling with a better work pattern and flexibility that fits around my kids (3 under 10)

I’m struggling to find examples of women that have made this shift, how they identified opportunities/ pitched themselves / found their alignment or market fit... and achieved their redefined definition of success.

Yes! This past two years has brought huge change for me. The youngest of my 3 children has started school and I’m starting out in my new career as a freelance writer. Drawing boundaries and shifting from giving everything to my family for so long is proving a challenge. I suspect there’s no magic wand, but I’d appreciate any advice!

OK on it - though I know personally this does take longer than one would anticipate

That's me! My 19 year old is starting uni in September after a year off. Youngest (18) is doing A Levels right now so will also be off soon. My social life hasn't fully recovered since the pandemic. My (part time) job is OK -- I don't feel like getting back into the rat race, but I do need to find things in life that get me motivated and make me feel part of the turning world. At the moment I feel like everything is shutting down and I want life to open up again, but I don't know where to start.

Good thoughts here, love the phrase 'part of the turning of the world'. Much to discuss soon

I made the leap five years ago from corporate life to consulting and have probably really focused on getting that going and making money/paying mortgage in the last few years. Feel like I’ve hit another pivot point now and really thinking about next stage of work. Interested to know how you keep learning and stretch going when we’ve made the leap and need some fresh impetus, especially when you work solo.
